Rakowthe formation of the Romanian Bogdan Racovitan (25 years old), scored a dramatic qualification to the final of the Polish Cup. His team prevailed at home against those from Katowice, in the semi-finals, following kicks from 11 meters. It was 3-3 after 90 minutes and 4-4 after 120!
The Romanian was the hero of his team. He equalized from 0-2 down and converted the decisive penalty.

It was a really dramatic match in Czestochowa. Rakow was leading 0-2 after the first 41 minutes. Jirka opened the scoring (21'), and Jedrych converted a shot from 11 meters.
The comeback signal occurred in the second half, in an interval of only two minutes. Brunes reduced the handicap (47'). and the Romanian went to the ramp and brought the equalizer (49').
Rakow turned the situation around in the 67th minute, through Diaby-Fadiga, but the game would go into extra time after Katowice struck in the last phase, score 3-3.
He scored twice in overtime. Rakow made it 4-3 thanks to Czerwinski's own goal, and Markovic sent the game to penalties (90+4').
In the shootout, Rakow converted everything, the last execution belonged to Racovițan, and the guests missed two executions.
Rakow qualified for the final of the Polish Cup, where they will meet Gornik Zabrze on May 2 in Warsaw. Until then, for Racovitan's formation, the away duel with Motor Lublin follows on April 12, in the championship.
Rakow is currently in 6th place with 39 points. The leader is Lech Poznan, with 45.
