Déjà vu at FCSB: it is the second time in the last 3 and a half years that the head coach resigns after losing against U Cluj!
Defeated by U Cluj, 1-3 after a deplorable performance, Elias Charalambous announced his resignation from FCSB. The Cypriot was A1 at FCSB for 3 years, from March 2023, and delivered 4 trophies, two championships and two super cups.
U Cluj last beat FCSB 3 and a half years ago, on October 31, 2022, a 2-1 in which Mamadou Thiam and Ioan Filip scored for the Transylvanian side, and Andrei Cordea for the Bucharest side.

The event means that after that match, the FCSB coach at the time, Nicolae Dică, resignedbeing replaced then, for an interim period, by Mihai Pintilii.
Practical, the last two victories of Cluj University with FCSB resulted in the resignation of the coach of the team from the capital!
