Orlen lowers fuel prices. Check how much petrol and diesel cost now

In the latest Orlen price list the wholesale price of Ecodiesel is currently PLN 6,803 per cubic meter, which means a decrease of PLN 147 compared to the previous day. In turn, gasoline Eurosuper 95 costs PLN 5,415 per cubic meter, which is PLN 90 less than on Wednesday.
It is worth recalling that the day before, the price of diesel oil was reduced by PLN 38, while the price of gasoline increased by PLN 55.
The situation on the fuel market is influenced by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which escalated after the US and Israel attacked Iran at the end of February. The increase in prices of crude oil and finished fuels on global markets also affected Polish stations. To counteract the effects of these changes, the government introduced the “Fuel Prices Lower” regulatory package, which sets maximum fuel prices throughout the country from March 31.

According to data published on Wednesday by the Ministry of Energy, on Thursday the maximum price liter of 95 unleaded petrol is PLN 6.27, 98 petrol – PLN 6.88, and diesel oil – PLN 7.83 (all prices including VAT). The introduction of these limits aims to limit the growth of retail prices, which have previously reached record levels.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk emphasized during Wednesday's press conference that the government does not intend to give up the introduced regulatory mechanismsdespite signals about a possible easing of tensions in the Middle East.
