Israel is expected to agree to talks with Lebanon. A breakthrough in the Middle East?


Direct negotiations between Israel and Lebanon will begin next week, with the first meeting taking place at the State Department in Washington, Axios reported in a post on X.

Israel will be represented by its ambassador to Washington, Yechiel Leiter, and Lebanon by its ambassador to the US, Nada Hamadeh-Moawad, he said.
