After that, workers will begin installing curb stones and, when warm weather arrives, laying new asphalt. Road repairs will be carried out without complete closures, with limited traffic on lanes.

Let us remind you that Maerchaka Street was completely renovated before the Universiade in the area from Republic Street to Svobodny Avenue.

Contractors will also soon begin repairing two sections of the roundabout in the area of ​​the 777 Bridge and Border Guard Street.

“This year, contracts will provide schedules for the execution of work at each specific site in order to eliminate long breaks between different types of work. This obliges the contractor to carry out the work without delay, and gives the customer service the opportunity to fine contractors in case of delays,” noted the city administration.

In parallel, work is underway to inspect warranty repair items for 2021-2025. Of the 230 objects, 144 have already been inspected, and comments have been issued on 61 sites. With the onset of stable positive temperatures, contractors will correct identified defects at their own expense.

In total, 25 road sections are planned to be repaired this year as part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”. 1.5 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes. The list was compiled taking into account the physical deterioration of objects, their demand, including the presence of nearby social institutions, as well as regulatory periods between repairs and requests from residents. The list of road facilities is synchronized with the plans of resource supply organizations to modernize the network infrastructure.

We would like to add that an additional list of objects has already been compiled. In case of savings from bidding, the repair plan will be supplemented. In addition, work will continue to attract funds from higher budgets.
