A poacher shot two roe deer in the southeast of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (video)

In the Kuraginsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police discovered the fact of illegal hunting of Siberian roe deer.

The traffic police patrol stopped two UAZ Patriot and Chevrolet Niva cars, in which, upon inspection, they found the carcasses of two roe deer, as well as a rifled firearm with a magazine and cartridges.

“It was established that a 48-year-old resident of the village of Roshchinsky, together with his acquaintance, went to the area of ​​Lake Maloye Ubinskoye, from where it was necessary to remove the snowmobile he had previously left behind. The man, without a hunting permit, committed illegal hunting of roe deer. Then he packed the animal carcasses into bags and put them in his friend’s car. The amount of damage caused amounted to 80 thousand rubles,” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

A criminal case was opened against the suspect under Part 1 of Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal hunting”, the sanction of which provides for a maximum penalty of imprisonment for up to two years.
