According to the prosecutor's office, this crime was committed in May 2025 in the Nash Dvor store – a 60-year-old employee illegally sold a bottle of beer to a 17-year-old guy. At the exit from the outlet, he met law enforcement officers, who, seeing the purchase, asked how old he was. The teenager admitted that he lied to the seller about his age, and she did not ask him for a passport.

It turned out that in November 2024 the woman was already brought to administrative responsibility under Part 2.1 of Art. 14.16 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation for selling alcohol to minors and was fined 30 thousand rubles.

“However, the fine did not force me to change my habits and the lesson passed by. A repeated incident converted the misdemeanor into a crime. The court found the woman guilty of selling a child a drink containing at least 4% ethyl alcohol (Article 151.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and sentenced her to a fine of 55 thousand rubles with installments over 5 months – 11 thousand rubles monthly,” the prosecutor’s office said.
