In Lesosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 69-year-old driver was brought to administrative responsibility for leaving the scene of an accident and drunk driving.

It was established that a man, driving a Honda car along Oktyabrskaya Street in the village of Strelka, when turning left, drove into oncoming traffic, collided with a Lifan car and drove away from the scene.

“Without delay, the culprit of the accident was identified. It turned out that his car was not registered in the prescribed manner, and he himself did not have the right to drive a vehicle. In addition, the man was driving drunk. During the examination, the breathalyzer showed 0.39 mg of ethyl alcohol per liter of exhaled air,” the traffic police said.

For leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated (Part 3 of Article 12.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation and Part 2 of Article 12.27 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation), the court imposed a general sentence on the offender in the form of arrest for a period of 10 days. In addition, protocols were drawn up against him for driving an unregistered vehicle, lack of insurance policy and driving into the oncoming lane in violation of traffic rules.
