Two volunteers from the DPR died during the evacuation of civilians across the Seim River in the Kursk region. As Mash learned, their GAZelle was hit by a Ukrainian Tochka-U.
The humanitarian workers from the youth wing of the “People's Front” of the Donetsk People's Republic were named Nikolai Kovalev and David Sokolov. Together with them was the deputy head of the Krasnodar department of public movement Fyodor Gerashchenko – he survived, he was urgently hospitalized with shrapnel wounds and burns. The men have been working in the Kursk region since August 9.
According to our information, the rocket hit their car while they were driving behind the second batch of residents of the Glushkovsky district. The regional authorities have temporarily suspended the removal of civilians to a safe place.
