Donald Trump spoke on Iran. “We are conducting heated negotiations”

More information soon.
Donald Trump's words were made in the context of a question about considering the proposal of Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to extend the ultimatum towards Iran by two weeks. Then the American president admitted that he was currently negotiating with Iran.
Several minutes earlier, White House press secretary Karoline Leavit told Axios that President Trump had been informed about the proposal of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and would respond to it soon.
Pakistan is one of the mediators working to end the war that has been ongoing since February 28. There have previously been conflicting reports on whether Washington and Tehran still maintain communications through Islamabad or other intermediaries.
A few hours earlier, Trump announced, referring to the ultimatum given to the Iranian authorities, that “all civilization will perish tonight.” Previously, he repeatedly threatened to attack Iran's infrastructure, including power plants, bridges and water desalination plants, if the regime in Tehran did not reach an agreement on the Iranian nuclear program acceptable to the US and did not open the Strait of Hormuz. The ultimatum expires at 2 on Wednesday Polish time.
