The former great footballer Cornel Dinu (77 years old) had a forceful intervention in which he took on the FRF, but also the Golden Generation.

Cornel Dinu, who has not had any public interventions in the last period, called Răzvan Burleanu, the president of the FRF, a “scoundrel”. He was disappointed with the Golden Generation and mocked Ianis Hagi.

Asked which position Ianis Hagi would give the best performance at the national team, Dinu answered with irony: “in the family!”.

Cornel Dinu: “Răzvan Burleanu is a scoundrel”

“I visited the Primavera training centers in Italy. All of them had as team managers former first-rate players from Italian football, which doesn't happen here. And that's why a Stoichiță appears as a technical director, I don't know who, head of the coaching school, like Mircea Rădulescu, who produced a plethora of diplomas, not football skills.

It's hard to say a selector's name. My conviction is categorical. If they gave me 100,000 euros per month, I wouldn't work in the current federation with Burleanu. My belief is that we are very poor in the possibilities of producing international level players.

The selector is Gică Hagi, but I thought that there is a certain brotherhood of those who played in the Golden Generation and that they stay aside, regardless of their devotion to the national team, a federation led by this scoundrel who is Burleanu.

What he did at the last meeting is inadmissible. It has nothing to do with football. I am totally disappointed with the Golden Generation, except for my friend and child, Ionuț Lupescu.

I think there is a certain moral barrier and a normal era like Gică Hagi, for what Gică Popescu suffered, put in prison so as not to be an obstacle for the corporatist. Gică Popescu ended up in prison, a terrible injustice”, said Cornel Dinu, at fanatik.ro.
