He beat me with a crutch, stole a laptop, a mare and a Ukrposhti car. In the Khmelnitsky region, a man created a “week of chaos”

The first episode took place in the central market, where a vendor refused to give a man a flower for free, so he hit her son with a metal crutch. He received minor injuries.

Later, during celebrations for Knowledge Day, a man entered the premises of an educational institution and stole a laptop with accessories. In gray hair, he noticed a mare with a cart and stole it.

The most resonant was the theft of a Ukrposhta car: a man pulled out the driver, got behind the wheel, stole a bag with money, documents and a mobile phone and drove off to a neighboring village. The car broke down there, so the man abandoned it.

In addition, he had a survival knife, which belongs to the category of edged weapons.

In court, the defendant admitted guilt, explaining his actions as the consequences of an anxiety-depressive disorder after serving in the army and claiming that he considered the car theft to be a “special task.”

The court took into account the defendant’s health condition and applied Art. 69 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, imposing a punishment below the minimum for the most severe article. We are talking about six years of imprisonment without confiscation of property. The man will remain in custody until the verdict comes into force.
