Krasnoyarsk entered the top 3 millionaire cities with the most polite drivers. The survey of pedestrians and motorists was conducted by the SuperJob service.
Study participants were asked to rate from 1 to 5 how politely drivers treat other road users and obey traffic rules. According to pedestrians, Krasnoyarsk drivers are polite by 3.8 points. This is the highest score among 16 cities. A survey in Kazan showed the same result. It is noteworthy that over the past three years, Krasnoyarsk has shown noticeable progress in driving culture – the increase in ratings from pedestrians was 0.7 points.
Krasnoyarsk motorists themselves rated their colleagues more modestly – by 3.3 points, although in 2023 this figure was 3.7. In this question, Omsk and Moscow received the highest score of 3.6 points. The regional capital shared third place with Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Samara.
In general, the study records positive dynamics: conflict on the roads is decreasing, and the gap between the assessments of pedestrians and drivers is narrowing. In Krasnoyarsk, as in other cities, typical problems remain: pedestrians complain about not passing zebra crossings, parking on sidewalks and driving fast through puddles, drivers complain about the lack of turn signals and chaotic lane changes.
