Serbian services found explosives near the gas pipeline. “Powerful Charge”

Vučić reported that detonators were found in unspecified explosives. The area is located near the town of Kanjiza, approximately 10 km from the border with Hungary.
— The Serbian army managed to prevent an action against the country's vital interests today, said the Serbian president in a comment broadcast on local television. “Serbia will mercilessly crack down on anyone who believes they are threatening its key infrastructure,” he added.
Viktor Orban reacts
Viktor Orban then spoke on social media. “I just spoke on the phone with President Vucic. The Serbian authorities found a powerful explosive device near the critical gas infrastructure connecting Serbia with Hungary. The investigation is ongoing. I have convened an emergency defense council for today,” he wrote on Facebook.
The incident occurred just a week before the parliamentary elections in Hungary, which will decide whether Viktor Orban will be able to extend his more than 16 years of rule. In February, he ordered the security of energy infrastructure to be strengthened, accusing Ukraine of seeking to disrupt the operation of Hungarian energy systems.
