Russians will begin to have their dacha plots confiscated for weeds and garbage.
The law comes into force on March 1, 2025. In case of untimely development, the land may be confiscated. Thus, it is proposed to recognize the site as unused if no foundation appears on it within two or more years and if the constructed building is not registered within five years.
If there are buildings, the site will be considered abandoned if the buildings are not used for their intended purpose or if the structural elements of the buildings are damaged or destroyed within five years.
