What time will the Nobel Peace Prize be announced 2025 and when the Norwegian Committee actually made

The winner of the Nobel Peace Prize 2025 will be announced on Friday, in a year marked by the efforts of US President Donald Trump to get what is undoubtedly the most prestigious prize in the world, notes Reuters.
Trump has openly expressed his desire to win the prize obtained by four of his predecessors: Barack Obama in 2009, Jimmy Carter in 2002, Woodrow Wilson in 1919 and Theodore Roosevelt in 1906.
With the exception of Carter, everyone won the prize during the mandate, Obama being called a laureate less than eight months after taking over the position, in which case Trump is currently.

When the decision on the Nobel for Peace was actually taken
But when Joergen Watne Frydnes, the leader of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, will speak at the Norwegian Nobel Institute in Oslo at 11:00 (12:00 in Romania), prize experts believe that Trump's name is extremely unlikely.
Trump announced on Wednesday the conclusion of an armistice in Gaza, which also provides for the issuance of hostages, during the first phase of his initiative to put an end to the strip.
But, according to the Norwegian daily VG, the Committee made the decision on Monday-before the agreement-and even though its five members knew about it before making the choice for this year's prize, it is unlikely that it would have been in a decision that it usually debates for months.
Observers with experience in granting the Nobel prize say that Trump's victory was extremely unlikely, invoking what they consider to be his efforts to demolish the international order after World War II, to which the Nobel Committee is so long.

Who else could take the prize
Instead, they say that the committee may want to highlight the network of Sudanese volunteers Emergency Response Rooms, a UN body such as UNCR, UNICEF or ICJ, or a humanitarian organization such as the Red Cross or doctors without borders.
Also, they could bring to the light of the journalists, after a year in which several media workers than ever were killed while reporting the news, most of them in Gaza.
If so, the committee could reward the Committee for Protection of Journalists or reporters without borders. And surprises are not something rare.
What did Alfred Nobel write in his will
The foundation on which the five Nobel committees are based on decisions is the 1895 will of the Swedish industrialist Alfred Nobel, who instituted the Peace Prize along with those for literature, chemistry, physics and medicine.
Nina Graeger, the director of the Oslo Peace Research Institute, said that the US withdrawal from the World Health Organization and from the 2015 Paris climate agreements, as well as the commercial war with the Allies, contravene the spirit of Nobel's Testament.
“If we look at Alfred Nobel's will, he emphasizes three fields: one is the achievements in peace: negotiating a peace agreement,” she said. “The other is to work and promote disarmament, and the third is to promote international cooperation.”
Asle Sveen, historian of the prize, quoted, among other reasons, Trump's attempt to approach Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“His admiration for dictators also plays against him,” Sveen said. “This contravenes the will of Alfred Nobel.”
How the Nobel committee decides
People with interior information say that the prize is the result of a one -year deliberative process, during which the strengths and weaknesses of the candidates are debated by the Committee consisting of five members.
The nominations for the prize must reach the committee until January 31. The members of the committee can also make nominations, but they must be done until the first meeting of the February committee.
After that, the committee meets about once a month. The decision tends to be taken in August or September, but can be taken later, as was the case this year.
The Nobel Committee says it is used to working under the pressure of people or their supporters, who say it is worth the prize.
“All politicians want to win the Nobel Peace Prize,” said Frydnes, the leader of the Nobel committee for Reuters.
“We hope that the ideals on which the Nobel Peace Prize is based are something for which all political leaders should make efforts … We notice attention, both in the United States and all over the world, but besides that, we work as always,” he added.
