With five consecutive defeats in the active, negative streak opened even by FC Argeș, a month ago, Dinamo is trying to wash its reputation tonight, on “Orăsenescul” in Mioveni, the place of promotion from 2023.

Crumpled after contact with the play-off proved to be much too tough for the team, Zeljko Kopic's boys come to win on the field of the “revelation” of the season, which is still sighing because of Căbuz's blunder from the last stage, which deprived the white-violets of a point with “U” Cluj.

On March 1, when the mood in Dinamo's camp was considerably better, the red-whites lost at home to FC Argeș, 0-1, a game in which the newly-promoted side secured play-off qualification. Ricardo Matos scored the only goal of the match, through a personal execution of all beauty.

Since then, the “dogs” have lost consecutively in the championship, currently in last place in the play-offs. FC Argeș ranks one position higher, two points above tonight's opponent.

Real-time situation in the play-offs

Bogdan Andone's plans, turned upside down: “Because of the rains, we prepared on synthetics”

Bogdan Andone, the technician of FC Argeș, expects an extremely complicated game against the “red dogs”:

“A difficult game awaits us. We are coming from a defeat, Dinamo as well. Both teams are in dire need of victory, so it will be an extremely difficult game.

It was an atypical period, with many players leaving for the national teams, U17, U19, U21. Some came back very late, and Sadriu, for example, he only came back yesterday (no from the national code of the state of Kosovo)in a state of pronounced fatigue. It's important to regroup and reconnect as a team.

Due to the rains, we had three days to train on a reduced synthetic pitch with 5v5 games. Only yesterday we managed to practice on a large grass pitch, and today (no friday) it will be only the second under these conditions. We have to find our landmarks on a large space as well.

Dinamo is a consistent team that has overwhelming possession, somewhere around 70% in many matches. He has very good players and a smart coach. It also happens that big teams have weaker periods. The important thing is what we will do and how we will manage the moments of the game”, said Bogdan Andone, according to arges-sport.ro.

It will be an intense duel. Dinamo is a good team, but they are not going through a very good period and we have to take advantage of this. We enter the field for the three points.

It's a good time for us, compared to what we've achieved from League 2 so far. The unity of the group and the desire to perform have brought us here, but we have to work even harder.

– Robert Moldoveanu, FC Argeș striker, according to the cited source

Zeljko Kopic on Dinamo's squad problems: “The squad situation is improving”

In the pre-match press conference, Zeljko Kopic, 48, the coach of Dinamo, declared himself satisfied with the way the preparations went in the last period, offering positive news regarding the players who were uncertain:

“Regarding the match, we had these two weeks where some of the players were with the national teams. They came back in good shape. I analyzed their evolutions, most of them had good performancesand the feedback from the selectors was very positive.

I worked with the other players during this period, we also had the match with CS Dinamo. Yesterday and today we told the players that we are in the final phase of preparation for the match with Argeș. We know that another difficult game awaits us.

We need to push our limits to change the recent run of results. The most important thing for tomorrow is the mentality. The field probably won't be in the best conditions either, so we have to be prepared for any situation.

The batch situation is improving. Marginean finally managed to have continuity in training. Boateng had some problems, he felt something at the muscular level with the national team, but he trained normally yesterday and today”, the Croatian technician pointed out.

“Also, Karamoko and Pușcaș are in the process of reintegration into team trainingand day by day the situation is better. I can't say we're perfect at the moment, but we're in a better situation than before,” Kopic added.

Yes, it is an important match for all of us. We know that. We discussed this. I feel the players are motivated. Even in the matches with Rapid and Craiova, in the first half we had good moments, but it was not enough.

The atmosphere will be one of real football, with a full stadium, supporters, great interest from the media. For us it must be an extra motivation. Regarding the terrain, it's hard to say, it rained a lot, and even in Săftica the conditions are not easy. We have to adapt to any situation

– Zeljko Kopic, Dinamo coach, according to dynamo1948.club
