Rapid clearly prevailed in the away game from Sibiu, 3-0 against Hermannstadtin a match dominated by Giulești, who take advantage of the wrong steps of the opponents and climb to the first place in the ranking. At the end of the game, Costel Gâlcă analyzed his team's game and the difficult conditions in Sibiu:
“We made a lot of mistakes in the construction. After the break we managed to stay better in the field, to have fluency in possession. In the first half we scored a goal through Denis (No. Ciobotariu) and it mattered a lot.
The truth is that I did not expect such a score, I expected a closer match. The grass was breaking, we had no stability, so we tried to play straight and we succeeded.“
The Rapid technician also spoke about the individual performances:
“Grameni has a very good shot, he has intelligence, in addition to physical qualities. It also happens that you miss penalties, the important thing is that we won (no Dobre missed from the penalty spot).”
Gâlcă, about Jambor: “It deserves to score”
Asked about Timotej Jambor, who scored the first goal of this Super League season, after the success in the Romanian Cup with Dumbrăvița, in October, Gâlcă was satisfied:
“I'm happy for Jambor, he deserved to score, he works very hard. I also expect Daniel (No. Paraschiv), and other players, to score, to have this satisfaction.
“We watch the matches, but nothing more. What is important is what we do. Petrol is an organized team with dangerous counter-attacking players. I hope we have much better circulation and can score.”

Being in the fourth match in the Super League since returning to the country, Daniel Paraschiv spoke about Rapid's performance on “Municipal” from Sibiu:

Paraschiv also spoke about the special reunions at Sibiu, the club for which he performed in the period 2022-2024:
“When you're on the pitch you don't think about things like that. I gave everything for my team and I think overall I looked good. It was a reunion with a few people who were important in my rise, I won't forget them, but it's a closed chapter.”
Finally, he appreciated the competition in the group with Elvir Koljic:
“It is very good to have such a competition. When I was younger and didn't play in the senior team, I used to look up to Koljic, and now we are teammates. There are matches every three days and it is important to have depth in the team”, concluded the striker in a flash interview for Prima Sport.
