A novice driver from Galati collided with a police special vehicle that was on the scene. The event was captured by a dashboard camera.
A police special vehicle during an intervention was hit by a car driven by an 18-year-old novice driver, in the municipality of Galati. Although she was not moving at speed, the young woman would not have noticed the police vehicle in time, stopped on the road and properly signaled with lights on, colliding with it.
The impact was captured by a dash cam.
The police crew were at the scene to deal with another road incident. In that case, a 46-year-old man was injured after crossing illegally.
Fortunately, there were no casualties following the collision between the two vehicles. However, the driver was penalized for contravention, the authorities determining that she did not secure herself properly when changing the direction of travel.
