Embarrassing moments in the studio, after Victor Angelescu (41 years old), a minority shareholder at Rapid, went live by phone and was challenged to answer why the people of Giulești did not choose Cristi Săpunaru (41) for the post of sports director.
Victor Angelescu confirmed for the first time this evening the fact that Marius Bilașco, still at CFR Cluj, will make the move to Rapid next season. He will replace Mauro Pederzoli.

First, Angelescu confirmed the arrival of Bilașco and the departure of Pederzoli: “It was Mr. Pederzoli's decision, we ended the collaboration by mutual agreement, not now, but from next season. I don't know where it will go. Yes, we are bringing Bilașco.”
While Săpunaru was on the set, as an analyst, the moderator of the “DigiSport Special” show, Vali Moraru asked Angelescu why Rapid preferred Bilașco instead of the former rapid captain, a graduate of the sports director courses organized by FRF.
There were delicate moments for Săpunaru, waiting for the rapidist president's answer.
“You're asking me a question… that was the club's decision. I usually don't like to answer comparisons like that. They can both do the same thing, but I don't like to compare former players or people who can do the same thing.
I replied that I don't like to make comparisons between certain people in the same positions and that this is the decision of the club”, retorted Angelescu.
Săpunaru replied briefly, after Angelescu finished his telephone intervention: “You put me in the middle… (No. Angelescu) answered very well. That was the club's decision.”
At the beginning of the season, Săpunaru was promised that he would take over this position in Giulesti. Later, Șucu and Angelescu decided to go the Italian route, and Pederzoli was installed.
