ANAF's auction platform puts up for sale some of the most valuable and diverse goods available on the market, from luxury and utility cars, to gold and jewelry, to real estate and land worth millions of lei. Beyond the idea of ”bargains”, the reality is that high-value assets frequently appear on this platform, some comparable to serious investments on the open market.

Among the most valuable and spectacular are the luxury and premium cars, where there are models such as the Lamborghini Urus manufactured in 2021, valued at 1,167,218 lei, a Ferrari from 2006, with a starting price of approximately 706,500 lei, or a BMW 525d XDrive from 2016, of approximately 98,000 lei. Such vehicles usually come from confiscations or foreclosures and can represent rare opportunities for buyers.

Another important category is that of trucks and industrial units, goods that constantly maintain their value due to their utility in transport and logistics. For example, a Mercedes-Benz Actros with a semi-trailer can have a starting price of approximately 358,000 lei, and a Setra coach reaches approximately 298,500 lei. These are relevant investments especially for companies or operators in the field of transport.

For those interested in entrepreneurship, there are also “turnkey” business options, such as a fully equipped fast food van, valued at approximately 355,000 lei. Basically, the buyer does not purchase just a vehicle, but an activity already ready for operation, which significantly reduces the initial start-up costs.
In the area of utility vehicles for transporting people, there are also more affordable options, such as a Ford Transit minibus with 18 seats, with a starting price of approximately 65,800 lei. They are useful for transport companies, institutions or tourism activities and can represent a cost-effective solution.
Gold, pearls and luxury watches
In the area of precious metals and jewelry, the price differences are spectacular. For example, a large lot of gold jewelry and luxury watches – including brands such as Rolex, Cartier or Breitling, along with rings, bracelets and chains – has a starting price of over 1 million lei. At a much higher level, there are also exceptional lots, such as one that includes almost 20 kilograms of gold and thousands of pearls, valued at over 10 million lei, making it one of the most valuable deals available. At the same time, individual luxury pieces, such as gold or platinum watches, also frequently appear: models such as the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak start at around 104,000 lei, and Rolex Daytona or Patek Philippe can be purchased from around 84,000 lei.

Apartments, buildings and land
In the real estate segment, values are equally high and varied. In Bucharest, apartments put up for auction can exceed 1.4–1.6 million lei, depending on the area and surface area, while large urban plots reach almost 4 million lei. But there are also more affordable alternatives, such as houses with land in cities such as Sibiu, with starting prices around 865,000 lei, or industrial properties – land with constructions or workshops – of around 460,000 lei. At the opposite pole, there are also smaller opportunities, such as inner-city plots of approximately 1,000 sqm in the Voluntari area, with starting prices of over 500,000 lei, or even more modest properties, in other counties, from around 60,000 lei.

These examples make it clear that the ANAF platform is not just a place for occasional purchases, but a marketplace where important assets, from luxury goods to substantial real estate investments, are traded. From watches and jewelry worth tens of thousands of lei, to lots of gold worth millions or land in valuable urban areas, the offer covers a wide range of interests.
Essentially, the most valuable assets put up for auction remain the large lots of gold and precious stones, which can easily exceed the 10 million lei mark, and inner-city land in big cities, where prices reach several million. But the real thing about these auctions is the price dynamics: starting below market value and dropping if there are no bidders, they can turn some of these assets into real opportunities for careful buyers.
