Rapid protests through the voice of the president Victor Angelescu (41 years old), after the changes made to Law 4, but also because of the fact that the people of Giulești will play a match behind closed doors.
Rapid will play in the next stage of the play-off (U Cluj, Sunday, 20:30) with several sectors closed. The sanctions are much more brutal for the match with FC Argeș (April 13). Then, the people of Giulești will have to play behind closed doors.
Angelescu believes that the law is poorly made in this regard and should not be so harsh on “recidivists”. Considers that some changes made to Law 4 can still be regulated.
Victor Angelescu: “I understand, this is the law, but it's stupid”
“Some things are beneficial from the amendments to Law 4, there are certain initiatives that I think are going in the right direction. First of all, the fact that you will be able to drink beer in the stadium is normal. You can't enter with beer on your seat, but you can drink in specially arranged points, at least it's a start. I think they were inspired by what's happening in England: there you're allowed to drink, but you don't enter with beer on your seat. Better than zero, it's a good thing.
With pyrotechnic shows anyway, it doesn't help much, it has to be a specialized company. They can only be used before and after the game, let's be serious, is it the fans' pleasure to call a company and set off fireworks 15 minutes before the game? At least during the match. I agree with the specialist company, but you can also do a show during the match so that it can be on TV. If it's just before and after, people leave the stadium.
Anyway, it's nothing new. It's still Law 4, discussed for a year and a half, to which further changes have been made. This is the law, it doesn't seem normal to me, but what can we do? If there is something to change, I think it should be changed here. We don't get fines for seriousness, but because we are repeat offenders. I find it incredible that we are playing without spectators because a flag was thrown.

I received the sanction because, at the goal scored by Dinamo through Armstrong, after the footballer went and showed certain gestures towards the gallery, a flag stick was thrown. The player was not sanctioned and we are treated as if 100 firecrackers were thrown. I understand, that's the law, but it's stupid,” Victor Angelescu said on the “Digi Sport Special” show.
