Although 3 minutes were still needed, the Slavia fans probably ensured a victory on the green table for the opponents, accompanied by more drastic penalties.

Slavia Prague footballers could celebrate the title on Saturday evening. But, at the score of 3-2, which assured them victory in the championship, their supporters invaded the field in extra time, causing total chaos. The match was stopped before the final whistle, for which they were also warned by the announcer.

Although the central referee decided to resume the match and called the two teams back from the dressing rooms, the guests clearly refused, got on the coach and left the stadium.

According to information from the Czech press, after several players and members of the technical staff were assaulted, they first went to the locker room and then to the team coach.

We cannot look for extenuating circumstances, our opponent reported an attack on a player. It is legitimate that the match was stopped permanently. If something similar had happened to us back home in Sparta, we would have done the same. We have nothing to do but apologize to them.

– said Jindrich Trpisovsky, coach of Slavia Prague, according to sport.cz
