In Krasnoyarsk, a 44-year-old man will go to trial for theft from a bank card. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region spoke about this.

In January, a 40-year-old resident of the regional center contacted the duty department. She told law enforcement that someone was spending money from the card she had lost. During the day, unknown people made purchases worth more than 30 thousand rubles. The police began to look for the intruders and found the man's trail.

A Krasnoyarsk resident found a card at a bus stop in the Sovetsky district and decided to use it. In addition to goods from a bakery stall, a grocery store and a fruit store, at someone else’s expense, he bought himself a TV, two hammer drills, a construction vacuum cleaner, a jigsaw and a soldering iron for pipes.

“Thanks to the actions of the police officers, the damage in the amount of about 32 thousand rubles caused by the illegal actions of the accused was partially compensated in the amount of 9.5 thousand rubles,” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

A criminal case was opened against the man under Part 2 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Theft”. Now the attacker is under recognizance not to leave the place and proper behavior, he faces up to 5 years in prison.
