In addition, LRT has received confirmation from ticket distributors that there will be no ticket sales for these concerts.
“The concert in Kaunas has been cancelled. We consulted with the organizers and agreed that such an event should not take place in our arena,” said Mantas Vedrickas, head of the organization of events at the Žalgirio arena.
The reason for the cancellation of Bohlen’s concerts has not been publicly stated, the material notes, but may be related to his statements in support of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation in his recent interviews. In them, the musician criticizes the deterioration of relations between Germany and Russia, calls for buying Russian energy resources and assures that the Russian Federation and Germany were a “dream team.”
In 2022, Bohlen criticized sanctions imposed against Russia. He also stated that “Ukraine has no chance against Russia.”
Bolen's concerts as part of the Blue System group were planned in Klaipeda and Kaunas in November.

The German duo Modern Talking existed from 1984 to 1987 and from 1998 to 2003. The group performed dance music in the disco style.
