The US attorney general loses her position. Donald Trump has decided

Todd Blanche, Bondi's current deputy, will temporarily take over as attorney general. The reports have already been confirmed by Donald Trump.
“Pam Bondi is a great American patriot and loyal friend who has faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year. Pam has done an incredible job overseeing our country's massive fight against crime, while murder rates have dropped to their lowest level since 1900.” – writes the president of the United States on his Truth Social platform.

Trump emphasized that Pam Bondi “will soon be taking on a much-needed and important position in the private sector, the date of which will be announced in the near future.”

Other representatives of Donald Trump's administration also live on the base where Bondi was placed. Those relocated include: one of the president's closest advisers, Stephen Miller, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, former Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and Pentagon chief Pete Hegseth.
Military facilities have been used in this way by representatives of various US administrations over the years. But according to former officials and historians, this is probably the first government to make such extensive use of tax-financed military housing for people who have no direct connection to the military.
