This decision was commented on by former Speaker of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia.

“The Sejm has elected six judges of the Constitutional Tribunal. If the President intends to take the oath from two of them, they should take it because they are judges independent of political constellations, and not – as was the case – politicians who pretend to be independent judges. After the President's decision regarding the remaining four judges is announced, what should be done should be done. And he should be applauded if, in accordance with the law, he also takes the oath from them. And if he does not take it, he should be held accountable for it. and repair the consequences of his inaction,” he wrote on X.

“Szymon 'mieszon' Hołownia has spoken. Was there a dinner with Kaczyński again? No, it's still the effects of the first and only one,” Left MP Tomasz Trela replied to him, referring to to the memorable meeting between Szymon Hołownia and Jarosław Kaczyński before the presidential elections.

Another politician of Poland 2050, Jan Szyszko, secretary of state at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, joined the conversation. “The big failure of our public debate is that people like Trela can write whatever they want and about whom they want and no one pays attention to it, because their unobtrusive intellect has somehow been considered a permanent element of Polish politics. Like snow in winter,” wrote the politician.

Szymon Hołownia reacted to this conversation. “When it comes to MP Trela, I follow a simple rule from the first time I meet him: I don't expect much – I've never been disappointed. He's not the sharpest crayon in the Sejm pencil case,” said the former Speaker of the Sejm.
