Ministry without data on home heating costs. Experts surprised

Jacek Werder, a waste management market analyst, asked the Ministry of Climate and Environment with a simple question. He wanted to know “does the ministry have analyzes of the costs of heating single-family houses that realistically compare different technologies in Polish conditions? — taking into account the energy class of the building, the heat source, the costs of energy carriers and other parameters affecting costs?
The ministry's response was clear. The Ministry of Climate and Environment does not have such analyzes.
Clean air without key data
The ministry's admission to the lack of such analyzes surprised the expert, as we learn about in a post on X's social networking site. He asks another question.
“Like the Ministry of Climate and Environment can properly design and then control programs such as Clean Air without knowing how thermal modernization or whether the choice of heat source affects the operating costs of the house? – we read.
The topic is developed by Paweł Lachman, president of the Polish Organization for the Development of Heat Pump Technology (PORT PC), who draws attention to the fact that “the state designs support programs for building heating, but admits that there is no basic analysis of the costs of various heating technologies even in the key thresholds of the Clean Air program, e.g. EU 80“.
But that's not all. In an entry published on the social networking site X, Lachman notices one more thing.
“The most powerful thing, however, is that the Ministry of Infrastructure and Environment writes directly,” the expert emphasizes, pointing out that, according to the response received, “Currently, the Ministry of Environmental Protection does not plan to commission expert opinions on this subject“

“So when the Clean Air program requires hard data, the state says: we don't have it and we don't plan to have it. This is more of a picture of chaos than conscious politics“- we read.
