ANM: Rain and strong wind throughout the country until Saturday, snow in the mountains. What will the weather be like in Bucharest?
The meteorologists have issued an information of quantitatively moderate wind and rain, in most regions, respectively snow and a new layer of snow in the mountain area, valid from Thursday morning until Saturday evening, at 18.00.
According to ANM, on Thursday, there will be temporary wind intensifications in the south and southeast of the country and isolated in the rest, on Friday in the western areas, and from Friday night to Saturday evening in the eastern regions, with speeds in general of 40…50 km/h. In the mountains there will be gusts of 70…80 km/h.
From Thursday morning, there will be moderate amounts of rain over most of the country.
The rains will also have a downpour character, and on Friday and Saturday they will be accompanied by isolated electrical discharges and there will be hail conditions.
Until Saturday, amounts of water of 20…25 l/m2 and isolated 50…70 l/m2 will accumulate. In the Southern Carpathians, and from Friday night to Saturday and in the Eastern Carpathians, at over 1800 m altitude, it will temporarily snow and a layer of snow with an average thickness of 10…20 cm will be deposited.

For the Capital, ANM announces that on Thursday, the weather will be closed and it will rain moderately quantitatively (10…15 l/m²). The wind will intensify during the day, when speeds of 40…45 km/h will be reached, then it will blow weakly and moderately. The maximum temperature, decreasing compared to the previous day, will be 11…12 degrees, and the minimum will be around 7 degrees.
On Friday, the sky will be more cloudy and it will rain mostly with showers (2…5 l/m2). The wind will blow weak and moderate. The maximum temperature, slightly increasing compared to the previous day, will be around 15 degrees, and the minimum will be 6…8 degrees.
On Saturday, the sky will be temporarily cloudy and there will be showers, possibly accompanied by lightning. The wind will blow weak and moderate. The maximum temperature will be 15…16 degrees.
