Ventus evo achieves top ranking in Auto Bild tests – confirming performance against global premium brands

Hankook Tire's UHP summer tyre, the Ventus evo, achieved outstanding results in tests conducted by leading European automotive publications, once again confirming its technological competitiveness at global level.
Proven performance in competition with top premium brands In the most recent test carried out by the prestigious German automotive publication Auto Bild, Ventus evo achieved the 1st place (Test Winner), being the only tire ranked in the first position out of a total of 50 products — beating global top brands such as Michelin, Goodyear and Pirelli.
The test evaluated the performance of the tires in various conditions, using a BMW 5 Series, on both dry and wet surfaces. The Ventus evo recorded the fastest lap time in wet conditions among the top competitors and demonstrated excellent stability on dry roads.
It also achieved the shortest braking distance — a key indicator of driving safety — being rated at the highest level by test assessors.
Top performance in all conditions, including SUV tests Ventus evo also took first place in a separate performance test conducted by Auto Bild Allrad, the SUV publication of the Auto Bild group.
In both on-road and off-road conditions—including wet grass and gravel—the Ventus evo consistently demonstrated superior traction, handling and braking performance, being the only tire to achieve maximum scores in all categories evaluated.
Both publications concluded that the Ventus evo offers “exceptional performance in terms of handling, braking and grip on both wet and dry surfaces”, highlighting its balanced character and high level of performance.
