In the Oktyabrsky and Central districts of Krasnoyarsk they appointed new prosecutors. The managers were introduced by Roman Tyutyunik at the meeting.

Let us remind you that the position of prosecutor of the Oktyabrsky district became vacant after the death of the previous chief Vasily Fedorin. He died in the hospital after an accident on the Yelovoe-Elita highway at the end of December 2025. According to media reports, Fedorin was drunk, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Toyota Allion, a 23-year-old passenger of a foreign car died on the spot.

His place was taken by 38-year-old Mikhail Kovyazin. He graduated from the Siberian Federal University Law Institute and has been working in the prosecutor’s office since 2009, where he held various positions. Since 2021, he has headed the department for supervision of the economy and nature.

The prosecutor of the Central District since 2021 has been Dmitry Smykalov. There was no information about his resignation, but 46-year-old Ivan Volkov was appointed in his place. He graduated from the Khakass Technical Institute with a degree in Electrical Supply, and later received a law degree from the Khakass State University. In the prosecutor's office since 2007, most recently he was the Sharypovsky interdistrict prosecutor.
