The Microsoft giant presents the list of the 40 best -exposed professions to be replaced by AI in the coming years

Several large companies, such as Klarna, Microsoft and Amazon, have already reduced their human staff with artificial intelligence. A Microsoft study shows that many jobs can be almost completely taken over by algorithms, while others cannot be replaced by AI, Sky News reports.

Microsoft study has been published in July and has been almost unobserved so far. The report based on the analysis of 200,000 conversations between people and AI, collected during nine months of using the Copperot chatbot, developed by Microsoft, in the United States, in 2024.

The technological giant concluded that you can do 90% of the work of historians and programmers, 80% of the activities of sellers and journalists and 75% of the tasks of DJs or data analysts.

Also, in the top of the 40 most exposed jobs were the customer relations assistants (72%), the financial consultants (69%) and the product promoters (64%).

“If we look at these jobs over 3-5 years, it is very likely to have been completely replaced,” a consultant AI with over a decade of experience.

At the opposite pole, the Microsoft study also shows the occupations where you can take only 10% or less of tasks. It is mainly about trades that require human presence, such as doctors, nurses, engineers or construction workers.
