In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Legislative Assembly will adopt a law that will help preserve housing benefits for the relatives of military personnel, said Speaker of Parliament Alexey Dodatko.

He explained that the order to develop a new support measure came from the regional governor.

“We are talking about military personnel over 21 years of age from among orphans who are entitled to a housing certificate. Two key changes are proposed. First Not only SVO participants, but also fighters defending the Russian state border from provocations will receive a priority right to social payments. Second if a serviceman died without having time to buy an apartment using his certificate, this right will no longer expire,” Alexey Dodatko said.

The speaker explained that in the event of the death of a serviceman or death after injury, the right to receive funds for the purchase of housing will pass to his official spouse. The main conditions for receiving: the marriage is officially registered, the spouse lives in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and has not remarried. Deputies will consider the bill in the near future.
