Two Krasnoyarsk residents are accused of stealing 254 kg of ready-made meals

Two men, 54 and 57 years old, accused of stealing food, will be tried in Krasnoyarsk one of the supermarket chains.
The crimes were committed in the fall of 2025. It was established that the younger accomplice, working as a storekeeper at the organization’s warehouse, suggested that his colleague, a delivery driver, steal ready-made food that was delivered to retail outlets.
“When loading into the car, additional boxes of ready-made meals were added, which the attackers divided among themselves. In October-November, they took out several boxes of food 7 times. The total weight of the stolen salads, cutlets, fried fish, chicken, pilaf and other dishes was 254 kg, the damage was more than 60 thousand rubles. They gave some of it to friends, and ate the rest themselves,” the police said.
A criminal case was opened and investigated against the defendants under Part 4 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft committed by an organized group), which provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 10 years. The friends are awaiting trial on their own recognizance and proper behavior.
