On Palm Sunday, Israeli police prevented the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballi, and the Custodian of the Holy Land, Father Francesco Ielpo, the official custodian of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, from entering the temple.
