Krasnoyarsk announced the purchase of another 100 gas-powered buses

March 30 18:30

The mayor's office announced the purchase of 100 buses running on gas engine fuel.

The cars will be leased to passenger enterprise No. 5. Deliveries will be made in batches and are planned to be completed by the end of August. The initial price of the contract is 2.9 billion rubles. Applications close on April 13th.

Using the new batch, they plan to completely update the rolling stock of all 13 routes served by the 5th enterprise, namely: No. 11, 14, 26, 30, 49, 52, 64 and 87.

Gas-powered buses first entered service in Krasnoyarsk last year with the support of Governor Mikhail Kotyukov. The purchase is being carried out in preparation for the 400th anniversary of the city. Now there are 150 such cars in the fleet of Krasnoyarsk enterprises – all of them were tested in the Siberian winter.
