Romance with Ani Lorak
Ani Lorak, a singer of Ukrainian origin living in the aggressor country of the Russian Federation, did not comment on rumors about the affair she had with Rebrov in her youth for a long time. She recalled her love affairs with the football player in 2021 in an interview with Russian propagandist Boris Korchevnikov. Her words are quoted by the NV website.
“We met Rebrov in London. There was a music festival – I was invited there for the diaspora. After that there was some kind of party. This is how it happens: just a look, just communication, some kind of interest in each other, some kind of mutual sympathy. We talked. It would seem that everything should have ended there. But the man was looking for ways, phone numbers and so on,” the singer boasted. “When a man is obsessed and when he wants, then he achieves. But when he achieved what he wanted, he didn’t knew what to do with it. He realized he wasn't ready.”
Ani Lorak complained to the propagandist that Rebrov invited her to become his mistress, but this did not suit her. Rebrov himself did not publicly comment on their relationship. At that time he was married.
Rebrov's first wife
As Oboz.ua notes, Rebrov first got married in 1998. The 24-year-old football player met his future wife “after the unsuccessful game of the Ukrainian national team with the Croats.”
According to Lyudmila Rebrova, “after that meeting they never parted again,” so the couple did not have “a long period of courtship and evening telephone conversations.” Rebrov’s first wife believes that their feelings could be called love at first sight.
In 1999, the couple had a son, Dmitry, and a year later they moved to London – Rebrov then signed a contract with the English football club Tottenham.
Deadly accident
In March 2013, Rebrov’s wife had an accident near the Dynamo base in Koncha-Zaspa, the TSN editors wrote about this. As a result of the collision, a pregnant woman who was in another car died.
Viva! notes that after the fatal accident, Rebrov’s wife returned with her son to London. Rebrov did not officially announce his divorce from his first wife, but they no longer appeared together in public.
Rebrov's new novel
In October 2013, the football player was seen in the company of a young girl. According to Channel 24, Rebrov met his new beloved on the banks of the Dnieper. According to her, at the time of their acquaintance, she did not know who Rebrov was.
In January 2016, their son was born. They got married that same year. Oboz.ua notes that the couple actually met back in 2010 and hid their relationship from the public for almost three years. The second wife is 15 years younger than 51-year-old Rebrov.
Now Sergei and Anna Rebrov are raising three sons. The youngest of them was born in the fall of 2025. The footballer’s wife announced the addition to the family on Instagram.
Context
Rebrov became the head coach of the Ukrainian national football team in June 2023. Sport.ua reportsthat the match of the Ukrainian national team against Albania on March 31 will be the last for Rebrova in this status, he will not renew the contract.
As a footballer, Rebrov played for Shakhtar Donetsk, Dynamo Kiev, English Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham, Turkish Fenerbahce, and Russian Rubin. He was a player of the Ukrainian national team.
Before FC Al-Ain, Rebrov coached the teams Dynamo (Kyiv), Al-Ahly (Saudi Arabia) and Ferencvaros (Hungary). In three years, the Ukrainian led the Hungarian club to the championship in this country three times.
