Iran's ally joins the war. Attack on Israel. There is a statement

General Yahya Sari, the Houthi spokesman, announced the rocket attack on Israel in a statement broadcast by rebel television. As he announced, attacks on Israel “will continue until the stated objectives are achieved, in accordance with the previous army statement, and until the cessation of aggression on all resistance fronts.”
Sari said the rebels fired a salvo of ballistic missiles targeting “sensitive Israeli military facilities” in southern Israel, Al-Jazeera reports.

The attack came several hours after an earlier statement by a Houthi spokesman. Sari suggested that rebels could join the war if attacks on Iran continue.
The Israeli side reported that the missiles were intercepted.
The Houthis, who control much of Yemen, are Iran's allies in what Tehran has called the “axis of resistance,” alongside Lebanese Hezbollah, Palestinian Hamas and pro-Iranian armed groups in Iraq. Since the beginning of the war between Israel and the United States against Iran, the rebels operating from Yemen have not undertaken open offensive actions.
