When buying new shoes, who among us has not encountered shoes or sandals that rub? After just a couple of hours, we feel unpleasant friction, and calluses and irritation appear on the feet, butts, and even fingers. But there is an easy way to get rid of this problem without much wear and tear.
All you need is a regular moisturizer, which you probably have in your makeup bag. All you need to do are two simple steps:
- Apply a little cream to the areas that most often suffer from friction (usually your toes and heels). The cream reduces friction between the skin and the material, preventing the appearance of calluses and irritation.
- Then use the same cream to carefully treat the inside surface of the shoe in places that most often come into contact with the skin (for example, the heel or toe). This will make the shoes softer and more comfortable, especially in problem areas.
The cream creates a protective layer between the foot and the shoe, reducing friction. It also acts as a temporary softener, which helps the shoe mold to the shape of your foot faster. After this treatment, the shoes become soft and comfortable, without requiring long breaks in.
This method is great for new shoes, sandals, and sandals. But it will also help with old, uncomfortable shoes. After the first wear you will notice significant relief. Regular use will make even old shoes softer and more comfortable.
