I forgot about the tightness of my face in the morning: two simple steps – and the skin is soft and tender

Many people wake up feeling like their facial skin is tight, especially in the cheeks and under the eyes. It does not peel off obviously, but it seems dry from the inside, does not absorb the cream well and looks dull. This is not dehydration in a global sense and not age. Most often, the reason is the bedroom microclimate and bedtime habits. But you can restore softness to your skin without expensive serums and masks.

The main factors of morning dryness are dry air from radiators or air conditioning, late consumption of coffee or alcohol, and a cotton pillowcase that absorbs moisture from the surface of the skin. When the air in the room is forty percent drier, the skin loses water even under the cream. And caffeine enhances the diuretic effect, and by the morning the face “sits.”

It takes two simple steps to wake up feeling like your skin is nourished from the inside out.

Naturally humidify the air in your bedroom. Place an open container of water next to the bed or hang a damp towel on the radiator if the heating is still on. Do not use ultrasonic humidifiers without humidity control because they can create excess condensation and cause mold. Plain water in a glass jar evaporates gently and safely.
Change your pillowcase to silk or satin. Cotton, even the softest, absorbs moisture and remnants of night cream. Silk or thick satin almost does not absorb and does not create friction, so the skin remains moisturized. If you don't have a silk pillowcase, just wet a regular one with water and dry well. This will reduce her thirst.

Additionally, drink a glass of water an hour before bedtime, but not immediately before, so as not to disturb your sleep. Avoid hot showers before bed because it strips away your skin's protective mantle, causing it to lose moisture faster. Apply night care to slightly damp skin, this will help seal the ingredients better.

After just two or three mornings you will no longer feel tightness. The skin will be soft to the touch and smooth in appearance.
