The regional operator ROSTtech liquidated two landfills in the Zheleznodorozhny district of Krasnoyarsk, which arose due to the management company’s improper performance of its duties.

Two container sites at st. Timiryazeva, 43 and st. Borbi, 28 is constantly littered with waste during the daily removal of bins. The regional operator notes: only to the site on the street. The struggles carry waste from 7 houses. These are the consequences of the inaction of the management company and the lack of container sites, the responsibility for organizing which lies with the district administrations.

Capacity of the site on the street. The struggle according to the accumulation standard is 138.6 cubic meters per month. However, in just 24 days of March, the regional operator removed twice as much from it – 311 cubic meters.

The situation is also deplorable at the neighboring site – st. Timiryazeva, 43. With an accumulation rate of 142 cubic meters per month, in 24 days the reoperator removed 328 cubic meters of waste, which is more than 2 times more.

On March 26, the regional operator once again cleared the rubble instead of its owner, but experts fear that in a couple of days there will be landfills again.

“The garbage truck at these sites operates daily, the tanks are emptied, and bulky waste is shipped regularly. We have already cleared these sites on our own more than once; unfortunately, those in charge continue to ignore the problem. Nobody monitors these container sites; there is virtually no maintenance. Management companies do not work with entrepreneurs who are located on the first floors of apartment buildings; they also take their waste to the specified sites,” the company commented on the management operator.

Note that the cost of maintaining common property, which is what container sites are, is included in the receipt from the management company, or the HOA and residents regularly pay for them.

The regional operator brought specialized equipment and, using a grab, removed all the waste into the body. At the same time, the management specialists did not even disperse the cars that were interfering with the cleanup; the driver had to maneuver the multi-ton equipment and gripper in such a way as to complete the work without hitting the car.

According to the company, at work meetings, representatives of ROSTtech constantly raise the problem of a lack of storage space and lack of maintenance by the owner, but so far the district administration has not taken measures to solve the problem.

Let us remind you that from September 1, 2025, regional MSW management operators were released from the obligation to liquidate unauthorized landfills. Now land owners or municipalities are responsible for cleanup.
