“We thank God that, on a day of great celebration, we achieved a hard-earned and extremely important victory for the city of Râmnicu Vâlcea. The access to the Final Four of the Romanian Cup represents the return to the foreground of the SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea team.
Congratulations go to the girls and the entire staff, and a special thought of thanks to the supporters present in the hall, but also to those who supported us from home. The team spirit, the determination in the defense phase, the tactical discipline in the attack and the unity of the group were the assets”, said Florentin Pera, after the match, in a reaction for GSP.ro.
This was the former coach's seventh victory in matches against CSM Bucharest: 5 were achieved as a coach at Vâlcea, in the 2018-2021 period, and one when he was training Gloria Bistrița.
It was a very difficult game. I feel both teams gave their best. But yes, we had some really good saves from the goalkeeper today, who saved a lot of balls behind us, and then we were able to attack and take our chances.
We beat a very big team today. I had a dream last night that we were going to win, but I didn't tell anyone. Now I think I'm clairvoyant. It was a very beautiful day
