The incident happened the night before. The traffic police noticed a Honda car driving at high speed. His driver not only ignored the police's request to stop, but also accelerated in an attempt to escape.

“In an effort to evade prosecution, the motorist committed a number of serious administrative violations: driving into oncoming traffic and exceeding the speed limit. To stop the driver, traffic police inspectors were forced to open fire. Only after this did the driver stop the vehicle. It turned out that the 41-year-old man was intoxicated – the breathalyzer showed a result of 1.00 mg/l with the permissible 0.16,” said the Krasnoyarskoye Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Several administrative documents were filed against the driver for traffic violations. The car was placed in a special parking lot, and the man was arrested for 10 days. He also faces a fine and deprivation of his license.

Police remind that driving while intoxicated poses a serious threat to the life and health of both the driver and surrounding road users. You can report drunkards by calling the Blue Line (263-10-19) or via chat bot @Alkoline_Krsk_bot.
