Dayton Webber, 27, a professional cornhole player and quadruple amputee, has been charged with fatally shooting a man while driving in Maryland after an argument between the two.

Dayton Webber had a bacterial infection after birth and was close to death, but survived. However, he lost most of his limbs, being a quadruple amputee. Basically, he has both hands and legs amputated.

Physical problems did not prevent Webber from playing sports, and he became the first amputee to compete in the American Cornhole League. ESPN covered his story and the man began giving motivational speeches.

While driving, Dayton Webber fatally shot the right passenger and dumped the body in a yard

Earlier this week, news broke in the United States that Webber had been charged with murder. According to the Charles County Sheriff's Office, the La Plata Police Department was notified Sunday evening after 10:00 p.m. that, while driving, Dayton Webber argued with the right-hand passenger, the conflict escalated, and the professional player fatally shot him.

Then, according to witnesses who were in the back seat, Webber stopped a short time later and asked them to help him get the victim out of the car. They refused and got out of the car, while Webber got behind the wheel and drove off.

Later, the body of Bradrick Wells, who was 27, was found in a yard in Charlotte Hall, Maryland, and Webber's car was found in Charlottesville, Virginia. The quadruple amputee was at a nearby hospital, and after he was released, Albermarle County police arrested him.

Webber will be extradited to Charles County and charged with 1st degree murder and 2nd degree murder.

“ACL is aware of the information regarding the allegations involving Dayton Webber. This is an extremely serious situation and our thoughts are with everyone affected, including the family and loved ones of Bradrick Michael Wells,” the American Cornhole League relayed.

“This is an active legal situation at this time. We respect the legal process and will not comment on specific allegations or details while the process is ongoing,” ACL added.

Dayton Webber was associated with a Facebook page of amputee hunters

Dayton Webber was active on social media, posting videos of both cornhole competitions and everyday life. Many years ago, one of his favorite activities was hunting. Webber associated with a Facebook page called “Amped Hunters” and had photos of rifles and deer carcasses.

Cornhole is a popular game in America where participants have to throw some sandbags into a wooden board that has a hole in it. Along with the development of this game, in 2015 the American Cornhole League was established which has over 100,000 players and organizes over 25,000 tournaments a year.
