Gibson dominated Jovic and, after one hour and 13 minutes, prevailed 6-2, 6-2. In the round of 16 of the Miami Open, the 21-year-old player will meet either Elena Rybakina (26 years, 2 WTA) or Marta Kostyuk (23 years, 28 WTA).
