Mark Rutte declared, during the show Face the Nation, that NATO “cannot confirm this at this time”, but he added that if it turned out to be true, “it is further proof that what the president is doing (…) is crucial”.
“What we know for sure is that they are very close to having that capability”but specified that “regarding the UK base, Diego Garcia, we are still assessing the situation.”
If the claims are confirmed, “it means they already have that ability. If they're not true, we know they're very close to having it”.
The head of the Israeli army warned a day ago that Iran's ballistic missiles, capable of traveling 4,000 kilometers, are not only aimed at the Middle East. Berlin, Paris and Rome are all in the direct threat zone, General Eyal Zamir said.
“These missiles are not aimed at Israel. Their range covers European capitals – Berlin, Paris and Rome are all in the direct threat zone”Zamir said.
We remind you that the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Esmail Baghaei, threatened Romania with “an appropriate political and legal response”after our country's decision to allow the Americans to use military bases to resupply planes used in missions in the Middle East.
“We warn all states not to become part of the crime of aggression against Iran and the Iranian people. These days will pass and Iran will emerge from this ordeal with dignity and with its forehead held high. No country should allow itself to provide, directly or indirectly, its facilities to the United States or the Zionist regime to aid the aggressor.”reported Esmail Baghaei, according to Iran International.
He added: “Regarding some countries in Eastern Europe, especially Romania, which you mentioned, yes, I have heard that there are interviews and statements on this subject. Undoubtedly, such an action would mean participating in military aggression against Iran. This action is completely unacceptable from the point of view of international law and would attract the international responsibility of the Romanian state if it were put into practice.”
