The head of the Investigative Committee requested a report on the search for the Usoltsev family and the missing man at Stolby

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin ordered to present a report on the progress of the investigation of two criminal cases of unknown disappearances of people in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
One of them concerns a 56-year-old man who disappeared on March 9 in the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park. He arrived at the eastern entrance, parked the car and went to Mount Ermak, after which he stopped communicating. No signs of foul play were found in the car.
The second case is about the disappearance of the Usoltsev family from Zheleznogorsk. On September 27, 2025, 64-year-old Sergei, 48-year-old Irina and their five-year-old daughter arrived in the village of Kuturchin to go hiking. Due to bad weather, the group did not gather, but on September 28 they set out on their own, providing a route to Mount Buratinka. The next day the woman did not show up for work, and on September 30 the son filed a police report. The main version is an accident associated with a sharp deterioration in weather. Their search continues.
Bastrykin instructed the acting the head of the regional Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee, Dmitry Vastyanov, to report on the progress of the investigation of both cases and on the measures taken to establish the whereabouts of the missing.
