In Krasnoyarsk, a lawyer is suspected of using forged documents. This was reported by the press service of the Main Investigations Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia.
According to the investigation, in November 2025, a lawyer from one of the Krasnoyarsk bar associations, in order to avoid administrative liability for an offense under Part 1 of Art. 12.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (failure by the driver of a vehicle to comply with the legal requirement of an authorized official to undergo a medical examination for intoxication), contacted the migration department. He asked to replace his passport, introducing himself as his brother and presenting his expired document.
Having misled the police officers, the man received a new passport in his brother’s name, but with his photograph.

“In November 2025 and January 2026, the suspect repeatedly presented a forged document in the Divnogorsk City Court, where he took part in court hearings to consider an administrative case about the offense he committed. In January 2026, the man’s illegal actions were stopped by court employees, since he had previously repeatedly taken part in court hearings as a lawyer,” the regional Investigative Committee said.
Based on this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Part 3 of Art. 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (purchase and use of a deliberately counterfeit citizen’s passport).
Currently, investigators are establishing all the circumstances of the incident, collecting and consolidating the evidence base.
