MegaFon launched payment for communications for subscribers of other operators

It will be easier for MegaFon clients to take care of their loved ones – now replenishing their balance has become available from their mobile account in their Personal Account. Funds can be transferred to a subscriber of either MegaFon or another telecom operator.

According to the operator’s own survey of clients, more than half of them regularly pay for communications for their loved ones (53%), another 29% do this sometimes. The majority pay for communications for children (57%) and parents (28%). At the same time, some respondents admitted that they forget to replenish the balance of their relatives – this turned out to be 62%.

The “Pay for loved ones” service is already available to all clients; you can activate it without paying in your Personal Account and add up to five subscribers to the list. If this is a client of another operator, then every 30 days the balance of his number will be replenished without commission by the required amount.

“Today it is more important than ever to stay in touch, but some of our subscribers’ contacts are not always MegaFon clients. We no longer divide subscribers into “us” and “strangers” – caring for loved ones and their balance should not end within one operator. Even if our clients’ relatives or friends use the services of another company, they will now have the opportunity to pay for their mobile communications from a MegaFon account and continue communication,” said MegaFon commercial director Dmitry Rudskikh.

The mobile account of MegaFon subscribers will be replenished according to the principle of “smart” payment: as soon as there is no money left on the balance of a loved one for regular debits, it will be paid for the required amount. If the balance becomes negative, then 20 rubles will be transferred from the list owner’s mobile account to him for unexpected expenses. At the same time, the account owner will also be able to set a limit above which funds will not be debited from his balance.
