Iranian fighter, executed by hanging by the Tehran regime. How the charges were laid against him

The regime in Iran executes on a conveyor belt those who do not conform to the rules imposed by Tehran. This is also the case of Saleh Mohammadi, a 19-year-old wrestler who participated in the demonstrations at the end of 2025. The athlete was executed by hanging yesterday, after he was accused of killing a policeman.

Saleh Mohammadi was detained by the authorities, being accused of murder, but also of being “an enemy of God” and a foreign agent, unfounded accusations, according to Marca. In reality, the athlete admitted, under torture, that one of the 29 wounds inflicted on the dead policeman was caused by him. But the wrestler was not caught on camera at the time of the incident and, according to statements made by his family, colleagues and coaches, he was at his uncle's house when the murder took place. Mohammadi did not have the right to an independent lawyer, and the judges took into account the statements of anonymous witnesses.
